Even though Balsa wood is classified as a hardwood, it is both lightweight and strong. Most importantly balsa is non-toxic. As a result, balsa wood sheets are perfect for all craft applications.

Manufactured in Australia, A3 Balsa Wood Sheets for Craft are both lightweight and strong. The larger sheet size lets you cut larger, more complicated components by hand or laser machine.

Even though Balsa wood is classified as a hardwood, it is both lightweight and strong. Most importantly balsa is non-toxic. As a result, balsa wood sheets are perfect for all craft applications.

Naturally Craft understands the importance of environmentally friendly source material and, therefore, only uses Auszac EcoBalsa. Kiln-dried and non-toxic, balsa wood is, therefore, safe for all woodworking crafts. Sourced from sustainable plantation-grown timber, Balsa is, above all, a natural timber that's easy to work with.

Cutting balsa wood with precision requires a sharp craft blade or Stanley knife because dull blades tend to split or tear the wood. To achieve a precise cut it’s best to gently score the balsa several times and increase pressure with each turn as you go.

Gluing Balsa wood is easy with Balsa wood crafts glue, PVA glue, balsa cement, and CA glues.

Painting Balsa wood can be a little tricky because it’s such a soft, porous wood. Spray paint and primer is best, and be sure to coat both sides to prevent warping.
